Preparing an easy arrival and collection

A stay has two handovers, and both deserve a plan. Clear dates, named contacts and current instructions help the arrival and collection conversation stay practical.

Discuss the arrival window

Share the date and preferred arrival window, allowing for the journey. Ask which travel arrangement and belongings have been agreed before setting off. The hours on a business page provide context for the conversation; they do not mean every time is available.

Suitability, accommodation and timing still need to be reviewed before a stay is confirmed.

Name the people responsible

Explain who will bring your pet, who may collect and how you can be contacted during the stay. If a different person is collecting, discuss their permission before arrival. Keep instructions specific to each companion.

Household pets may share contacts while still needing separate feeding, handling and accommodation conversations.

Keep collection details current

If travel plans or collection contacts change, tell the business before the handover. Ask what information should be checked together at collection rather than assuming the original plan still fits. Clear communication keeps the arrangement understandable; the demonstration itself does not send these details, reserve accommodation or confirm a stay.

Your next conversation

Bring the useful notes and tell us which boarding service you have in mind. Share your proposed stay dates, ask about preparation and wait for the arrangement to be agreed. Our contact page is the place to start that conversation.
